Supreme Court Attorney, Birgir Már Björnsson, graduated with Mag.Jur degree in Law from University of Iceland in 2009. After he worked as an Attorney with Acta law offices, later Megin law offices until 2011 when he started working as an Attorney with LEX. Birgir´s main focus has been in the fields of bankruptcy law, corporate law, property law, law on wills and succession, marriage law and intellectual property law in addition to diverse consulting to businesses and individuals. Birgir is a skilled litigator with great experience in trying cases.
Among the cases that Birgir has brought before the Appeal Court and the Supreme Court are exemplary cases in the field of company law and tax law where strategic judgments have been handed down. He has also taught at the law faculties of the University of Iceland and Reykjavík University.
