LEX advises JBT on takeover of Marel

Today, JBT Corporation, a global technology solutions provider to high-value segments of the food and beverage industry, launched a voluntary takeover offer for all issued and outstanding shares in Marel hf., following an approval by the Financial Supervisory Authority of the Central Bank of Iceland of an offer document and a prospectus related to the offer. LEX is acting as Icelandic legal advisor to JBT in connection with the takeover offer. The LEX team is led by partners Guðmundur Ingvi Sigurðsson and Stefán Orri Ólafsson and associate Kristinn Ingi Jónsson.
